NOTE: This process must be performed by a user with administration access.
Space Connect provides the ability to enable or disable the 'START MEETING EARLY' feature on the meeting room display panel, preventing users from being able to start the meeting early.
IMPORTANT: When enabled, this feature will enable a user to start the meeting early however, it will adjust the booking start time in Exchange and automatically issue an updated invite to all attendees.
Follow the steps below to enable or disable the 'Start Meeting Early' feature on the display panel.
Navigate to the administration website (https://spaceconnect.azurewebsites.net/admin).
Enter your Administration Email Address and password to sign in.
Note: Your administration email address may be different from your normal email address.
Select 'Configuration' from the left-hand menu.
Select 'Org Configuration' from the sub menu.
Under the CONFIGURATION heading, select 'Start Booking Early' dropdown in the 'Select Alert/Notification' field.
Select the 'EDIT' button.
The 'Status' dropdown field will be enabled. To active 'Start Booking Early', select 'Active' and save. To disable, select 'Deactive' and save.
NOTE: Once you have updated the settings in the web administration portal, you need to reset your display panel to update with the new settings. Follow the steps below to update the meeting room panel app.
Select the Settings button located at the bottom left-hand corner of the meeting room display panel.
Enter the administrator PIN.
Enter your administrator email address and password in the Microsoft or Google authentication screen.
The Location page will display. Select the location of the meeting room panel.
The Level page will display. Select the level of the meeting room panel.
The Room page will display. Select the meeting room.
The Settings will page display. Select any required settings.
Select the 'COMPLETE ROOM SETUP' button. The meeting display will now show meetings without the 'START MEETING EARLY' button activated.
